Game Controllers for Flight Simulators

Game controllers are not your normal mode of choice for playing your favorite flight simulator. But what about when you're out and about and you only have your laptop with you?

If the laptop is a reasonably powerful one then it will easily fire up most flight simulators with just about every setting at maximum.

You don't want to be carrying around a full sized flight simulator joystick with you on the train or the bus so a game controller is an excellent compromise.

Most of them are small enough to chuck in your laptop bag and usually don't need batteries to operate. For functionality the majority have more than enough buttons and switches for all your flight simulator controls and are easily configurable.
